Posthumous Honor for F-16 Pilot
President Volodymyr Zelensky has posthumously honored F-16 pilot Pavlo Ivanov by granting him the title of Hero of Ukraine.

Quote: "For personal courage and heroism demonstrated in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and selfless service to the Ukrainian people, I hereby decree:"
"To confer the title Hero of Ukraine, with the award of the 'Golden Star' order, to Pavlo Ivanovych Ivanov – Major (posthumously).".
Background: On Saturday, April 12, 26-year-old pilot Pavlo Ivanov died while carrying out a combat mission in an F-16.
Zelensky noted that he received reports from military officials regarding this combat situation, and all circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
