Kryvyi Rih Attack: Details on the Victims

During the missile strike on Friday evening, 18 people were killed, including 9 children.

“Three-year-old Tymofii sadly passed away today (April 5) in the hospital. Seven-year-old Radyslav, seven-year-old Arina, nine-year-old Herman, and fifteen-year-olds Danylo, Mykyta, Alina, Konstantyn, who was 16, and 17-year-old Nikita,” President Volodymyr Zelensky named the deceased children.

Currently, there are 75 reported injured individuals.

37 people remain in hospitals, with 19 in serious condition.

The occupiers struck Kryvyi Rih on Friday evening with an Iskander ballistic missile armed with a cluster warhead. They targeted the center of a residential area where a playground, café, and homes are located.

Hours later, Russian forces attacked the city again with drones.

One person died, and seven others were injured.

Zelensky Urges Pressure on Russia

In his evening address, President Volodymyr Zelensky urged the world to apply more pressure on Russia.

“Russia must be held accountable for everything it has done; we need to truly press them – not waste time in empty discussions – to end this war,” the president stated.

Volodymyr Zelensky, who had previously criticized the U.S. for its “weak” stance on the missile strike in Kryvyi Rih, called for not remaining silent about Russian crimes.

“Ignoring the fact that it is Russia killing children with ballistic missiles is wrong and dangerous. This only encourages the scum in Moscow to continue the war and further disregard diplomacy. Weakness has never ended a war. Therefore, I am grateful to every country whose representatives have spoken up: leaders, foreign ministers, embassies,” the president noted.
