Major Destruction in Odesa Due to Drone Strikes
During the night of June 10, Odesa suffered from a massive drone assault that resulted in considerable destruction.
In a video posted on the Odesa Zoo's official page, director Igor Belyakov explained that the main impact of the enemy drone struck the area between the vivarium and the hay storage. A fire broke out but was quickly extinguished by firefighters. Technical facilities were damaged and now require urgent repairs.
Sadly, one domestic lamb lost its life due to the strike, but other animals were unharmed. Fortunately, no staff members were injured either.
