Frontline Update: Latest Combat Engagements
On April 20, there were 96 combat encounters on the frontline, with the enemy carrying out 1882 shelling of Ukrainian positions and populated areas.

Reportedly, the enemy intensified its actions yesterday, conducting 1882 shellings, including 33 from multiple rocket launch systems, and deployed 957 kamikaze drones.
In the Kharkiv region, the enemy attempted to breach defenses near the settlement of Krasne Pershe.
In the Kupiansk direction, a raid was recorded near Holubivka.
The Lyman sector faced 12 attacks from the enemy, trying to penetrate defenses near the settlements of Nadiya, Myrne, Hrekivka, Katerynivka, Nove, and Yampolivka.
In the Siversky direction, the enemy made three attempts to advance in the areas of Bilohorivka and Ivanodarivka.
On the Kramatorsk front, occupiers attacked five times around Chasiv Yar and towards Stupochky and Bila Hora.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy launched 10 attacks near Druzhba, Toretsk, and Leonidivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders halted 39 assaults by the aggressor in the areas of Sukha Balka, Myrolyubivka, Yelizavetivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Andriivka, and Rozliv.
In the Novopavlivsk direction, five attacks were recorded around Kostiantynopol, Skudne, and towards Odradne.
In the Orihiv direction, the occupying forces attempted to advance on our defenders’ positions four times in the areas of Mala Tokmachka, Mali Shcherbaky, and Stepove.
No combat engagements occurred in the Huliaipil and Dnipro directions yesterday.
In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of enemy offensive group formation were detected.
In the Kursk region, the enemy carried out 184 shellings, 17 of which were from MRLS. Ukrainian defenders thwarted 16 assaults by the invaders.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are inflicting significant losses on the occupying troops in both personnel and equipment, actively undermining the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
