Easter Greetings from Children to Soldiers
In the days leading up to Easter, the soldiers of the Maritime Guard received unique gifts – handmade cards from children.
The State Border Guard Service shared photos of these warm greetings.
On the children's cards, there are drawings of bunnies, ships, angels, candles, peaceful skies, and carefully penned messages: "Thank you for your protection!", "Pray for us, we are waiting for you!", "Christ is Risen!" – the maritime guards added heartfelt words to the images of these children’s greetings.
These cards are the greatest reward. Holding such a letter, one feels: it’s all worth it. We are loved, we are believed in, we are awaited, – shared the defenders who received these greetings from the little ones.
