Porto-Franco City

The Ukrainian Taekwondo Championship (WTF) for juniors took place from August 21 to 23, 2025, in Lviv, along with a competition for children's and youth sports schools.

Over 200 young athletes and around 600 participants from 19 regions of Ukraine took part in the event.

The athletes representing the Odessa region from the Comprehensive Children's and Youth Sports School No. 17 achieved remarkable results:

Children's and Youth Sports School Championship:

Daniil Modnov – 1st place, 51 kg (juniors);

Kyril Pavlyuchenko – 3rd place, 68 kg (juniors);

Matviy Lukashuk – 3rd place, 73 kg (juniors);

Ulyana Protsenko – 2nd place, 55 kg (juniors);

Lina Yeremenko – 3rd place, 59 kg (juniors);

Denis Sevastyanov – 3rd place, 30 kg (boys).

Junior Championship:

Anastasia Volosenko - 1st place - 46 kg;

Danylo Komarov - 1st place, 45 kg;

Matviy Lukashuk – 1st place, 68 kg;

Zlatoslava Volosenko - 2nd place, 49 kg; 

Daniil Modnov - 3rd place - 51 kg.

The athletes were prepared by trainers Victor Semanyuk and Yulia Podolyany.

In the taekwondo (WTF) department of the Comprehensive Children's and Youth Sports School No. 17, there are 133 athletes training.
