In total, the Heroes Alley now displays information about 421 heroes. The work of commemorating their memory continues.
“Each of these heroes represents a piece of the immense strength that has allowed Ukraine to endure and continue its fight for a free future. Their heroism is the foundation of our independence, and we must remember this. Thanks to their selflessness, we can live, work, and build the future of our state today,” said Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.
Additionally, at the request of the families, Christmas trees have been set up near the Alley, which children from the families of fallen defenders will decorate with handmade ornaments as part of the St. Nicholas Day celebrations.
