Collaborative Paths: Reviving Business Amid Challenges

Representatives from Odesa, Rivne, and Chernivtsi regions gathered to discuss the importance of collaboration and identify effective business tools during challenging times.

The event in Bukovina brought together over 40 participants, including entrepreneurs, activists, scholars, and representatives from economic departments. The key topics of discussion included:

  • Turning challenges into opportunities - discussing entrepreneurship amidst security risks and transitioning from crisis management to recovery;
  • The power of partnerships - exploring the dynamics of collaboration since the full-scale invasion and opportunities for local economic development;
  • Sharing experiences - presenting real recovery cases and successful community practices;
  • Finding new partners - conducting B2B meetings between communities to identify areas for collaboration.

The two-day event concluded with a visit to a grain terminal in Chernivtsi region, showcasing how the collaboration of agricultural entrepreneurs opens new avenues for growth.

This seminar was organized by UNDP in Ukraine in partnership with the Chernivtsi Regional State Administration, the Department of Socio-Economic Development of Chernivtsi City Council, the Faculty of Economics of Chernivtsi National University, and representatives from economic departments.

The event was part of the project «Enhanced Partnership for Sustainable Recovery» (EPSR), funded by the Swedish government through the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and implemented by UNDP in Ukraine.
