In Odesa, cadets and students of the Ukrainian Navy have achieved a new national record by unfurling the largest naval flag.

This was announced by the Commander of the Navy, Oleksiy Neizhpapa, on his social media page.

The flag measures 35 meters in length and 19.8 meters in width. It was unfurled at the Potemkin Steps, and the event has been recorded in the National Register of Records of Ukraine.

“Our flag symbolizes bravery, resilience, and dedication to our people. Many victories have been achieved under this flag. I believe the greatest are yet to come!” said the Navy Commander.

The flag was unfurled in celebration of the Navy Day, which is observed in Ukraine on the first Sunday of July.
