Tragedy at the Railway: Two Teenagers Electrocuted
In Odessa, authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the electrocution of two teenage boys. One of them has died, while the other sustained serious injuries. Rescuers were also on the scene, assisting the injured boy off the train's roof.
According to police reports, the incident occurred on the evening of March 9th near the railway station on Baltska Road, as reported by a passerby. Preliminary findings indicate that the two boys climbed onto a stationary train and were electrocuted. A 16-year-old boy suffered fatal injuries, while the 13-year-old was rescued and transferred to medical personnel.
"Rescuers used a tripod ladder and rope to safely bring down the injured boy, who was then hospitalized in critical condition. The circumstances of the incident are still under investigation," stated the State Emergency Service.
