Faster Recognition for Soldiers: New Award Procedures
The Ministry of Defense has crafted new protocols aimed at significantly reducing the time required to prepare documentation for awarding military personnel state honors for their combat achievements.
According to the Ministry's press service, this new algorithm will streamline the process. Military units will send award documents to their respective military management bodies, where they will be reviewed. The processing of these documents in both instances will take no more than two days. Afterward, the documents will be forwarded to the President's Office, which will take between 8 to 16 days.
Previously, this procedure could last anywhere from 3 to 8 months due to the numerous steps and required approvals. Some documents had to be manually filled out.
The Ministry of Defense also announced the ongoing work on integrating the state award certificate within the Diia electronic app, with proposals sent to relevant authorities for consideration.
