Advancing Accessibility: New Developments in Odesa
In Odesa, the implementation of the project "Movement Without Barriers" is in full swing.
A recent online meeting took place with the central office team of the "Movement Without Barriers" initiative, chaired by the Minister for Communities, Territories, and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine, Oleksii Kuleba, along with Deputy Minister Nataliia Kozlovska.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed the progress of the project in Odesa, discussing existing initiatives and future steps.
The city received new proposals for implementing accessibility solutions, which are now entering the practical stage. A key focus is engaging businesses in adapting entrances to commercial establishments in line with modern building standards.
Some reconstruction efforts have already begun in areas included in the first phase of the accessibility route.
