Snakes in Sauvignon: The Zoo Director's Experience
Igor Belyakov, the director of the Odessa Zoo, has once again gone snake hunting, this time in Sauvignon.
He shared this on his Facebook page.
“People from Sauvignon called me. There’s a snake in the yard again. It’s a yellow-bellied racer, listed in the Red Book of Ukraine, non-venomous and incredibly beautiful,” he wrote.
He also reminded everyone of his phone number – 068 140 45 39, for those needing assistance with snake removal.
It’s worth noting that Igor Belyakov has previously rescued both Odessa residents and villagers from snakes, which often instill panic in many people.
