Vyacheslav Chornovil Award Contest Announced
The award is presented annually to authors of original publicistic works that foster the establishment of historical memory, national consciousness, and cultural uniqueness.
The State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine announces the acceptance of publicistic works for the Vyacheslav Chornovil Award for the best publicistic work in journalism.
The award is given to authors of new original publicistic works that help strengthen the historical memory of the people and their national identity. Works can be submitted either by individual authors or by creative teams of up to five members, published in completed form within the last three years, but no later than six months before submission.
To participate, applications must be submitted by August 10, 2025, including a request for the award with a brief description of the work and its author, a copy of the work (electronic version or link to the publication), proof of publication in print, audiovisual, or online media, and a copy of the passport (for creative teams — copies of passports of all members).
Documents should be sent to: 01 001, Kyiv, Pryorizna St., 2, State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine marked “For the Vyacheslav Chornovil Award for the best publicistic work in journalism.”
In order to expedite the processing of submitted documents and for the committee members to review the contest works, requests for the award in Word format and signed in PDF format, along with electronic versions of works, should be sent to irina@comin.gov.ua.
