Inspiring Diplomacy: Student Meeting with the Ukrainian Foreign Minister
During a working visit to Odesa, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha visited Odessa National University named after I.I. Mechnikov, one of the leading educational institutions in southern Ukraine.
He engaged with international relations students and political scientists — the future representatives of Ukraine on the global stage.
The meeting was held in a warm and lively manner. The minister was open for dialogue, eagerly answering questions, sharing his personal experiences in Ukrainian diplomacy, and outlining the current challenges in foreign policy.
«Modern diplomacy requires not only expertise but also flexibility, a deep understanding of the world, and clear value orientations. This is the kind of new generation of Ukrainian diplomats we need,» emphasized Andriy Sybiha.
Students asked about EU integration, information security, the challenges of war, representing Ukraine globally, and the internal motivation to serve the state in difficult times. The answers inspired and provided room for reflection.
Such meetings are an investment in the future of our country, in those who will soon shape Ukraine's image on the international arena.
Thank you to Andriy Sybiha for his openness, and to the university staff for the warm atmosphere!
