Recent Earthquake in Romania: Details and Impacts

According to the Romanian National Institute for Earth Physics, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.2 occurred at 00:59 in the Vrancea seismic zone. Its epicenter was located at a depth near Buzau, approximately 50-70 kilometers from other towns.

It is important to note that seismic activity in this area is not uncommon. It periodically affects the southern regions of Ukraine, particularly Odessa.

Currently, there have been no reports of damage in the Odessa region.

Additionally, we remind you that on Sunday evening, May 11, a 4.6 magnitude earthquake struck Romania, which was also felt by residents in the southern part of Odessa region.
