Fire Hazard Warning in Ukraine

From April 29 to May 1, a state of emergency regarding fire hazards has been announced across most of Ukraine, excluding Crimea and the western regions.

This information comes from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

During this period, there will be a significant risk of forest and field fires in Ukraine. The most dangerous conditions are expected in the central, southern, eastern, and parts of the northern regions.

The emergency (fifth) level of fire hazard prohibits open flames in forests, fields, and near populated areas. Rescue services urge the public to adhere to fire safety regulations, avoid burning dry grass, and not leave campfires unattended in nature.
