Modern Educational Spaces in Odesa Region
The Odesa region is advancing innovative educational initiatives: preparations for the new specialized school are ongoing.
The Deputy Head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Anton Shalyhailo, and the Director of the Department of Education and Science, Oleksandr Lonchak, participated in a discussion on the arrangement of modern educational environments held in Kyiv, involving representatives from government bodies, educators, and experts.
The event, organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, aimed to discuss further steps in creating educational laboratories and workshops in general secondary and vocational (technical) educational institutions using funding from state and local budgets.
The government allocated nearly 500 million UAH for the modernization of specialized senior school classrooms. Currently, the selection of project proposals for receiving subsidies in 2025 for the creation of modern educational spaces is underway.
Well-equipped classrooms will create conditions for the effective implementation of senior school reform, allowing students from 2027 to choose their learning profiles, subjects, and courses according to their interests.
