Students from Odesa Shine at National Physics Olympiad

Students from Odesa successfully secured two silver and three bronze medals at the national physics olympiad. All winners are from Richeliue Scientific Lyceum, showcasing exceptional knowledge among 150 participants from various regions. This was reported by Alexander Lonchak, the director of the Odesa Regional Education Department.

Based on the competition results, II degree diplomas were awarded to Nazarij Vraschuk (10th grade, competing for 11th) and Yuriy Semenov-Hamarov (10th grade). The third place winners included Kostyantyn Bordiian (9th grade), Dmytro Loshkaruk, and Lev Shevchenko (8th grade). One of the winners, Nazarij Vraschuk, also received an invitation to the selection training camp for candidates for the Ukrainian team for the International Physics Olympiad.

Special recognition was given to the contributions of the physics teachers at Richeliue Lyceum – Andrii Katz, Vadym Manakin, and Oksana Kolesnikova, who prepared the prize winners for the competition.
