Online Safety Lesson for Students

The National Police of Ukraine, together with the SBU and the Ministry of Education, organized an online lesson for students to address the issue of child recruitment.

Russian operatives are attempting to draw Ukrainian children into criminal activities. Students received practical advice on how to recognize threats and what to do if approached by those trying to recruit them for arson, sabotage, or terrorist acts.

Juvenile prevention officers of the National Police have been conducting information campaigns for several months to educate children about the dangers of recruitment by hostile intelligence services.

«In Ukraine, there are over 12,000 schools, and these lessons are held both online and offline. Make sure to inform your friends about the dangers of recruitment so that you do not become an instrument of hybrid warfare. Being informed means being armed», the police emphasized.

To support children, famous Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk joined the information campaign:

«Today, Russian intelligence services want to use your hands to harm Ukraine. Do not fall for their tricks. Do not let them turn you into a weapon against your homeland. Being cool means using your head», said the Ukrainian champion.

He advised the youth to report to their parents and teachers or to contact the National Police and SBU if strangers on social media offer money for setting fires or moving suspicious packages.

«This is how you can protect yourself and your loved ones. Be smart, be strong, and do not let anyone use you. We are Ukrainians, and we always win», urged the athlete.
