Odessa Region to Implement the «Dream» Platform This Year
According to Oleksandr Lonchak, the introduction of «Dream» is not just a transition to a new digital tool, but also the beginning of a significant transformation in education management — transparent, modern, and focused on convenience for students, teachers, and parents.
The official noted that a final online presentation of the «Dream» application and portal took place recently for heads of educational institutions in the Odessa region.
«Starting from September, all schools in the region will operate within the «Dream» digital environment, — he emphasized. «This will unite all participants in the educational process in a single electronic space».
What is «Dream»
«Dream» is a free digital platform that integrates all key elements of school life: schedules, grades, homework, chats, achievement analytics, a library of educational materials, and tools for teachers and parents. It has been developed and is being implemented by the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ministry of Education and Science with the support of the Swiss-Ukrainian EGAP Program.
The platform includes:
- an electronic journal;
- schedule;
- feedback system;
- library of materials for students and teachers;
- other tools for organizing learning and communication.
Practical Benefits of «Dream»
For Students: the platform offers personalized learning, a motivation system through internal currency called «Dreamcoins,» which can be exchanged for real rewards, as well as access to extracurricular activities. Students will have access to electronic textbooks, individualized recommendations, and tasks, and can view educational videos.
For Teachers: «Dream» automates routine tasks, allows for the creation of schedules, checking homework (including automatically), maintaining electronic journals, and communicating with students and parents through secure chats. It has extensive databases of ready-made tests, lessons, presentations, educational materials, and methodological guides.
For Parents: the platform provides transparent access to their child's educational achievements, simplifies communication with educators, and assists in choosing extracurricular activities.
Preparation for State Examinations: The platform contains special modules for preparing for state certification, including tests and error analysis.
Currently, preparations for its implementation are underway — specifically, training for teachers and technical integration of schools.
«Dream» is being developed at the national level and aims to cover all educational institutions in Ukraine by the end of 2025, creating a unified, convenient, and fully accessible educational environment.
