New Equipment for Odesa: Vehicles from Japan

Odesa has enhanced its vehicle fleet with a delivery from Japan, receiving 10 water tankers and a truck.
Six of the tankers have been allocated to the municipal enterprise «Miskzelentrest» to support their operations, while four tankers and the truck have been assigned to the «City Roads» enterprise. This organization is responsible for maintaining urban roads and stop complexes. During the war, they have also been working on mitigating the effects of enemy attacks.

When needed, all available tankers are used to supply water. For instance, Odesa's municipal workers transported water to the nearby city of Mykolaiv when it was without water for several months. They also supplied water to the State Emergency Service for battling significant wildfires in the ecosystem.

Additionally, following attacks on the energy system, when Odesa was left without electricity, water, and heating, the tankers were utilized to deliver water to areas lacking public wells.

«I extend my gratitude to our Japanese friends for their incredible support, and I wish health, happiness, and prosperity to our country. May 2025 bring new opportunities for our cooperation with Japan and the implementation of joint projects, hopefully focusing on the restoration and development of Odesa!» - stated Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.
