Traffic Adjustments in Odessa
Starting from November 23, 2024, vehicle traffic is closed on Vitaliy Blazhko Lane (formerly Marinesko) in Odessa to facilitate the construction of a drainage system. The objective of this work is to stabilize landslide processes by establishing drainage to intercept groundwater (including those formed during heavy rainfall), preventing further flooding and subsidence of the slope.
The traffic restriction on Vitaliy Blazhko Lane will be extended until August 2, 2025.
The relevant order has been signed by the mayor.
Due to the ongoing work, temporary changes will be made to the municipal public transport routes:
- bus routes No. 168, 240, 250
In the direction of the Pervomaisky Bridges – from Pastera Street to Olyhiyivska Street (left turn), Staropotoportfrankivska Street, Olyhiyivskyi Lane, Balkivska Street, Chornomorsky Kozatstva Street, and further along the routes;
- bus routes No. 105, 121, 145, 146, 242
In the direction of the Pervomaisky Bridges – from Preobrazhenska Street to Futurystiv Lane (Maya Kovskiy Lane), Military Lane, Primorska Street, Chornomorsky Kozatstva Street, and further along the routes;
- tram route No. 7
From Chornomorsky Kozatstva Street to 28th Brigade Street (Paustovsky Street) and back.
The tram route No. 3 «16th Station of Lustdorf Road – Pastera Street» will be organized with access to Starosinna Square.
