Rescue of an Injured Dog in Odesa
On July 9, 2025, in Odesa, patrol officers Mykola Morozov and Serhiy Onufran received a distress call: an injured dog was reported on Lvivska Street.
Upon arrival, they discovered that the animal had serious injuries, likely from gunfire.
With the help of the reporting party, volunteers, and the director of the Odesa Zoo, the dog was carefully transported to a veterinary clinic.
The dog is currently under veterinary care and in stable condition.
Investigators have initiated criminal proceedings under part 1 of Article 299 (Cruelty to Animals) of the Criminal Code.
