Tech Summit: Bridging Education and Business

On October 18, 2025, UNIT.City hosted the remarkable PolyTECH Summit, culminating the educational program that gathered over 1200 students from technical universities across Ukraine.
This initiative, supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, created new opportunities for collaboration among educational institutions, businesses, and government entities.
From September 15 to October 17, 1200 students underwent intensive training in the PolyTECH EDU program, and on October 18, they convened at a grand summit in the capital.
The event was opened by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov and Minister of Education Oksen Lisovyi, who emphasized the importance of developing a tech ecosystem for Ukraine’s future.
“The summit's program brought together representatives from leading tech companies, educational institutions, and government bodies. Participants had the chance to learn about corporate education from financial institutions, discover engineering programs from tech giants, discuss ethical implementation of artificial intelligence in higher education, and engage in discussions about modern leadership,” stated UNIT.City.
A highlight was a panel discussion involving representatives from universities and tech companies, showcasing various approaches to preparing future specialists and demonstrating how education can effectively collaborate with business.
Participants had the opportunity to not only listen to expert talks but also engage in interactive sessions, workshops, and networking events. A strong emphasis was placed on practical application of knowledge and building professional connections with industry representatives.
“We are impressed by the level of engagement and activity of the participants at the PolyTECH Summit. This energy and genuine interest in technology inspire us to keep moving forward,” shared Pavel Mykhailiuk, Director of Development at UNIT.City.
He believes that such projects are critically important for developing the tech ecosystem and forming a new generation of leaders. “We confidently state that we will return next year with an even more ambitious program that will open up more opportunities for talented Ukrainian youth,” concluded Mykhailiuk.
The program was implemented with support from leading companies, including OMD | Optimum Media, Credit Agricole Bank, Ajax Systems, with Lenovo as the technology partner and Bolt as a friendly partner. These companies contributed to the educational content, offered mentoring support, and created real job opportunities for the best participants.
