Odesa Region Police Supported Participants of the Patriotic Game “Dzura”
The purpose of the event is to instill a sense of patriotism and respect for cultural traditions in young people, as well as to develop skills vital for their protection and that of the country.
Law enforcement officials reminded participants of safety measures, supported them, and ensured their safety while competing in drill training, shooting, first aid provision, outdoor sports challenges, and various contests.
Maria Valovich, a juvenile prevention inspector from the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district police department, participated in the event, which included teams from educational institutions in the Tatarbunar and Lyman communities, and shared:
«We took the opportunity to discuss general life safety rules with the children. Specifically, we reviewed how to properly handle suspicious and potentially dangerous items. We also focused on rules for pedestrians and cyclists. At the request of the boys and girls, we simulated the arrest of an offender, allowing teenagers to experience what it’s like to be police officers».
