Tragedy in Odesa Region: Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Incident
Recently, a case of carbon monoxide poisoning was reported in the Odesa region, resulting in two women being hospitalized and one man losing his life. This was confirmed by the Emergency Service of Odesa.
According to rescuers, the incident occurred on October 18 in the city of Ananyiv, Podilskyi district. The women, born in 1973 and 1979, were hospitalized in critical condition. The body of a man born in 1970 was found in a residential building, showing signs of carbon monoxide poisoning.
During the examination, rescuers found no evidence of fire or combustion. Preliminary data indicates that the poisoning was caused by a gas leak due to ventilation issues in the heating appliance, as reported by the Emergency Service.
