Ban on Catching River Crayfish in Odesa Region
From August 15 to September 30, the Odesa region will impose a ban on catching river crayfish due to their second molt. This measure aims to protect the population of these aquatic creatures.

During the ban, fishermen who illegally catch crayfish may face administrative or criminal penalties, and they will also be required to compensate for damages — 3,332 hryvnias for each illegally caught crayfish.
