Fire Emergency in Odesa: Quick Response by Firefighters
Today in Odesa, on Vadym Korzhenko Street, a fire broke out in an apartment on the first floor of a four-story residential building.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service.
Emergency units responded promptly, working under heightened alert. Firefighters swiftly extinguished the blaze, preventing it from spreading to other apartments. During the operation, they rescued 9 individuals using a ladder and stairs from the upper floors. Fortunately, no one was injured. The cause of the fire and the extent of damage are being investigated. A total of 10 units of equipment and 38 firefighters from the State Emergency Service were involved, along with 1 unit of equipment and 2 personnel from the Municipal Rescue and Diving Service.
