Investment Boost in Robotics: MITS Capital Supports Tencore
The Ukrainian-American investment group MITS Capital has invested $3.74 million in the Ukrainian robotics company Tencore, renowned for its multifunctional robotic complex TerMIT. This investment was announced during the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2025) in Rome.
The deal was structured through the legal framework of "Diia.City", allowing direct investment into the Ukrainian legal entity Tencore.
"MITS Capital proudly signs the first contract between an American investor and a Ukrainian company in defense technologies through "Diia.City", said Perry Boyle, CEO and Founding Partner of MITS Capital.
MITS Capital noted that this agreement opens up a legal pathway for international investors to invest directly in Ukraine without the need for loopholes.
"Since the beginning of 2025, the legal regime of "Diia.City" has actively expanded into the DefenseTech sector, counting over 300 defense resident companies," the statement said.
According to MITS Capital, Article 29 of the Law of Ukraine "On Stimulating the Development of the Digital Economy in Ukraine" contains provisions that allow for the creation of loan agreements with performance alternatives. Additional protection for the parties is provided by contractual agreements on applicable law with specified countries for arbitration or courts whose decisions are automatically recognized in Ukraine.
"This mechanism makes investments in Ukrainian legal entities as reliable as those in traditional venture business C-Corps in Delaware or E-Residency companies in Estonia," emphasized Denis Hurak, CIO and Founding Partner of MITS Capital.
MITS Capital, founded in 2024, is an investment group with offices in Kyiv and New York, focusing on investments in Ukrainian defense technology innovations. As of July 2025, MITS Capital's portfolio includes 11 companies.
Tencore is a Ukrainian developer and supplier of robotic platforms, employing a team of over 200 people. The TerMIT development features a modular architecture adaptable to various tasks. The platform can be utilized for logistics, evacuation missions, engineering support operations, including mine laying and demining, as well as providing fire support to units on the front lines.
Additionally, in June it was announced that the Ukrainian communication systems manufacturer Himera Radios and Tencore would collaborate on creating a stable and secure communication system for ground robotic complexes.
