Commemorative Stamp for the 10th Anniversary of the National Police of Ukraine
Ukrposhta has announced the release of a new stamp dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the National Police of Ukraine.
This stamp was unveiled on July 4, coinciding with the National Police Day, as mentioned on the postal operator's website.
The stamp features a police officer holding a firearm.
The National Police of Ukraine represents more than just maintaining order; it is about actively resisting the armed aggression from the Russian Federation. Police officers are involved in evacuating people under fire, rescuing children, documenting crimes, and effectively solving cases, combating the enemy in the rear.
During this full-scale war, the National Police has not only maintained security stability in the country but has also transformed into a multifunctional mechanism: from civilian evacuations to participating in combat operations and aeromedical evacuations of the wounded.
A sheet of six stamps is available for purchase at a price of 600 hryvnias.
