Last week, Odesa hosted European representatives, including the EU Ambassador to Ukraine, Ms. Katarina Maternova, and Kristina Mikulova, head of the European Investment Bank's regional office for Eastern Europe.

During their working visit, the delegation familiarized themselves with the operations of the tram repair workshops of the municipal enterprise "Odesmiskelektrotrans" and toured the electric transport museum.

Last year, under the project "Urban Public Transport of Ukraine" and with financial support from the European Investment Bank, multi-section Tatra trams were purchased.

These trams currently serve route No. 7, providing comfortable transportation for Odesa residents.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of current and future initiatives aimed at modernizing urban transport, enhancing its efficiency and environmental sustainability.

This visit marked a significant step in strengthening the partnership between Odesa, the European Union, and the European Investment Bank in the field of sustainable urban development.
